BBC Secrets of The Human body: AR Learning Resources

Bringing learning to life through augmented reality 3D animations

To accompany the three-part BBC Two series Human Body: Secrets of Your Life Revealed we partnered with the Open University and BBC Studios to create three innovative augmented reality experiences.

Using their smartphone, users were able to zap each of the learning resources to discover an interactive 3D model of the brain, liver and heart. The 3D models included hotspots encouraging users to explore, tap and learn more about how our organs work in an immersive and visceral way. The AR experience showed both healthy and unhealthy versions of the organs.
